Im about to buy a new monitor for pc and ps3 use

Yea, the Dell has a native res of 1080p - so it will be great with a PS3.

Just use this adapter.

That is really good monitor but it has no hdmi port for ur ps3.

I've just got myself a really nice monitor from a competitor shop, £169.99 with 5 yrs warrenty. it is a samsung BX2331, it's lovely LED. I would say get this over the rest.

It has a 2 x HDMI, 1 x VGA, 1 x DVI ports..
