to replace a ATI 5850

did i do the right thing?

anyone with this card advise if it goes much higher then the slight overclock that is ships with?

Why would you order something and then ask for advice, surely you'd do it the other way around? ;)

But yes, performance will be higher with the 570, not by a huge amount, should be noticeable though. Also you should be able to clock it a fair bit higher with the cooler it has strapped to it.

Yep got one myself, quite as a mouse plus can get it up to 930 with relative ease.

*sorry just noticed you mentioned 570 not 560 ignore my post*

cool...

I ordered before asking for advise as I Was sure thats what I wanted... was going to get a whole new pc but decided to get graphics now and a i7 in a few months...

was pondering over a 560 but looking at the performance gain now wouldnt have been too much..

Now just gotta flog my 5850...

The Phantoms are the cream of the crop of NVIDIA cards, superb cooler and great cards. Enjoy your purchase! :)

Come on over a 5850, the increase in performance will be pretty big...

Looks like it measures 10.5 inches - the antec 300 can take a max size of 11 inches so you should be fine. However it's tight so you won't be able to place your HD in the slot directly across from the gpu as the cables stick out from the HD cage, you'll have to move it down a slot or two out of the way.
