The ASUS P8P67 Pro is a good choice

The new boards are shipping from today by the looks of it.
The issue is not massive anyway so people are stil buyong boards and then swapping them over later.
Good news!
I've had the 'new build' bug for a couple of weeks now. After finding out about the SandyB problem, I've been trying to be patient and wait for the new boards...
Turns out that it's easier said than done!

2x PCI-E x16 (single at x16, or dual x8/x8)
Still an x16 slot, which is what i said. Depends what people use it for... Me personally. I prefer to keep things as one high end card and i dont SLI
EDIT: I know its old benchmarks, but the point is still valid. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/pci-express-scaling-analysis,1572-8.html So 2x in x8 mode will be faster than one in x16. Although... one higher end card might be faster than 2 slower cards. Depends on circumstances!

I thought the Msi was 2x PCI-E x16 meaning if i do a sli set up both slots would still bee at x 16.
Im looking at going sli Gtx570's in the near future and wanted the best card for this.
Do any cards do true 2x PCI-E x16 .
what would the difference between dual x8/x8 and dua lx16/x16 if you can get that.

about 5% less fps so i have been told only boards out that do 16x 16x are the asus maximus iv and the gigabyte ud7.
asus suppose to be the more exspencive board (which i have found cheaper) with more features the gigabyte less features but still a high end board that clocks well and very stable.
both are good boards just personal choice
