Do you ever walk to work?

Nope as my commute can be over 100 mile return some days! :p

If I go to head office I take the train sometimes (if I go out for a drink or two after work).

A couple of times I do. We dont have that many really nice days where I want to though and the shifts I do mean I dont get to see that many of the ones we do get. I do like the walk though and ocassionally cycle it if ive got some time to spare and want to take a more scenic route.

No, but might cycle this summer considering it's only 4 miles. Will need to carry my work clothes in a bag and change when I get there though, especially if it's a hot day. Lots of hills on the way.

but its after work when you realise oh damn i have to walk home lol

So true :D

If I could walk to work in less than 30 minutes I would do it everyday. Why drive for such a short distance?

Exactly an 8 minute walk from my house to our depot.

Do it every morning, and walk back again in the evening after I've finished.

Nice way to start and end the day given I'll be out on the road for 10 hours at work.

I run a couple times a week, it's about 4.5 miles and actually takes about the same time as if I get the tube and DLR.

No. At 7 miles it's too far to not be inconvenient - plus 7 miles means going via a 60mph urban clearway with no pavement which isn't suitable for pedestrians.

I'd like to cycle it in summer but we have no changing facilities and I don't fancy cycling up hills in my office wear, and I doubt my colleagues would be fans of my sweaty carcass for the rest of the day following a vigorous cycle to work.
