What do you lot think is the best GPU for under £150?

I want some good answers now, as one that grabs my attention will probably be bought within the next week or so!

I have the MSI 460 Cyclone. It's quite powerful, and Overclocks better than any card I've had.

Sorry to butt in on this thread, but I'm currently in the process of building a i5 - 2500K system (been out of the game for a fair few years, still using a P4 system!!) and have got a bit stuck when it's come to choosing a graphics card.

I'm looking at the 5850, 6850 and 460 butt hey all seem much of a muchness. As per the thread title don't want to spend over £150 as my build is already running over budget.

Any more advice that hasn't already been said above?

Alx, I was so close to buying a 6850 when I bought my rig from here a mear 2 months back then I seen benchmarks for the 5850.

But.. Ive seen higher numbers on my own rig compared to Anandtech's bench, Also from experience the MSI R5850 overclocks like a beast just turn the fan speed down from 55% to 50,45 and you'll have no problems playing the games you want with AA and AF maxed.

If future Xfire is an option then the 6850 beats the 5850 for me due to the better scaling the 6 series offers, if its just a single card solution youre looking at then a 5850 for just over or 460 for just under

Well, I don't think xfire 6850 beating xfire 5850 by just 1fps is really worth mentioning...5850 would be quite a bit faster than 6850 and GTX460 as a single card here and now.

It's a shame the "deal of the millenia" MSI GTX470 Twin FrozR II £143.99 deal is long gone.

In the end I ordered a 6870 for £155 so apart from buying second hand I think I got a pretty good bang for buck deal :)
