Good gaming headset?

I want to replace my stereo speakers with a good gaming headset/mic. I have an asus xonar dx2 soundcard.
What set would produce good surround sound in gaming?
Looking at the Corsair Gaming Audio Series HS1A
or the Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset.
Both seem to get good reviews.

What are your thoughts on the two or are there any others to consider?

I use the Roccat Kave 5.1 Headset for gaming. Gives really good surround sound and Bass, perfect for blowing things up etc.

Note that some people (normally with smaller heads it seems) find the Kave uncomfortable. Can't say I have had that problem but it is the main criticism as far as user reviews go.

You considered decent headphones and a mic ?

I vote for sibera v2 if you like the looks, it's pretty nice sounding has a nice airy sound to them, bass isn't over the top ethoir okay fine not as defined through the range as say goldrings

After looking at reviews for both the roccat Kave and sibera v2 i have decided to buy the Roccat.
