Just bought a 480GTX and would like to know what you guys consider to be the best tools for overclocking it and making custome fan profiles e.t.c.

I use Rivatuner for my current GTX 275. Is this still considered a good utility these days?

So Afterburner has lots of functionality then yeh?

What about ASUS SmartDoctor and the voltage tweak thing? is that worth using?

I personally use Heaven Benchmark as it gives a realistic idea of temps under load and good at finding unstable overclocks. BTW you have to have Afterburner running for your custom fan profiles to work.

Ok, thanks for your help.

What should i expect as a "gimme" on these cards in terms of overclocks?

Is this acceptable?

P5026 3dmarks with the card at 800/1600/1956 ?

graphics score is 5302

Looks like my trusty Core Quad is letting me down. Physics score seems to be half of what i5's/i7's are getting.

Anyone else with a similar set up to mine?

What are your *in games* FPS like ? 3D mark numbers mean nothing .

Havent tried any games yet :p

i was just checking it was all good to go and performing/behaving as it should.

Often a set of comparable numbers/benchmarks is a good way to accertain this.
