I'm in need of 2 new front tyres for my focus (normal not ST)..

size: 205/55R16V 91 looking at either:

Bridgestones ER300
Michellin Primacy HP
Pirelli P7
Continentals Premium Contact / Sport Contact??

No spectacular needs but want decent tyes. Got michellin primacys on at the minute but the 2 fronts have become mis-shaped so i'm not so keen on them?

Opinions or alternatives? Around 70-90 per tyre?

The Bridgestones suffer with a lot of road noise and aren't brilliant for grip. The only other tyre in your list I have experience of is the Conti Premium Contact which would be my choice.

I've had the Premium Contacts fitted on a Yaris for a few months now and have found them excellent in both wet and dry. The main comparison I've had experience with are the Falken FK452 and I'd say they are equally as good.

I think the fact that I paid around £35 a corner for mine has something to do with just how happy I am with them too :D.

Alignment may have been the problem but the with them out of shape is causing serious wheel juddering.. i would have needed some in a few months time so just a bit earlier but need changing.

I'm drawn towards the continentals at the minute..

Is there any alternatives that i've missed?

Bubbling in the tyre wall? I had this with some eagle f1's.

The uniroyal rainsport2 is a great tyre, if you want a really good all rounder, very pleased with mine, although they are not as Sharp feeling as am all out summer/sport tyre.
