I have a MSI Twin Frozr HD5850 and its performance isn't as good as I had hoped due to my lacking processor (AMD Athlon X2 4800+).
I'm looking to get the i5 2500K along with 4, perhaps 8gb ram.

Not knowing much about motherboards myself I was wondering which I should be getting alongside the i5. I see many different versions of the Asus P8P67 motherboards and cannot tell the difference between them.

So far the ones that look appealing are the M, M-PRO, LE, the one without a suffix and perhaps the PRO but it seems comparably expensive.

Thanks!

This should help lol. I would buy the pro one, it will cover you in the future and give you the most flexibility too.;)

Also buy a nice aftermarket cooler as well because you will have a nice overclock on that board.

Tis a bit confusing. What does the PRO have that the M-PRO doesn't?

Thanks I'll look at some coolers.

They are both very similar, one is a smaller micro atx motherboard(M-PRO) and the other is an atx motherboard(PRO).

Personally I would go for the bigger atx motherboard, the PRO.
