Crazy Taxi - Now on Steam

Steam or not fact is £1 is fair, therefor you would have to be crazy " pardon the pun " to pay out £5 for something you can emulate yourself for free.

Sorry that's not based on facts & purely your opinion seeing as it cant be backed up in what's is in fact out there in the real world because you just contradicted your self because you moan about the 3D game costing but not about the price of the 2D games that still cost more than your quote & they too can be emulated for free.

And how many other main stream 3D emulated games do you see on steam for £1 ?..none.
Even the old 2D emulated cost £2.

Well Age of empires 3 complete pack for 10p from GFWL.

Burnout Paradise - Free from EA Store

Medal of honor airborn - Free from EA Store.

Need i go on? :p

And about the price id say 50p. :p As the gfx are shockingly low res and not enhanced for pc version.

lolz how much have people spent in the arcade? Might of had 2-3 goes so there is £3 right there! I don't think £5 is excessive for the game but when you compare it to the "APP" nation and the people who only buy games because its in a sale then you get this kind of comments...

Yet if you compare it to real world prices IE what does a fiver get you in fast food restaurant you will probably get more enjoyment out of the game (if you like classic arcade games). Then the amount of time you spend in a game compared to how much you pay.

To try and sum up my point we are spoilt by Steam Sales and App store value these days so we can't see past the initial sum if its over £2.

Sorry but promotions & special one off deals don't count as they are not sustainable.

Arcade? They died out years ago around my way. Their are some arcades still at the beach side near mine but absolutely no one goes on em.

Used to be all the rage in the 90s cos they were better than anything u could play at home but soon as tech moved past arcades they quickly died out.

Shame cos i rather liked em and me and bro completed turtles arcade when on holiday in like 1990 or somit.

Also i think the price of arcades are expensive because back in the olden days they only were like 20p a go or somit and now their like £1 a go.

You asked name a 3d game cheaper i did so dont complain about how they were cheaper.

No i didn't not ask name a 3d game that has been cheaper.
I asked name a 3D emulated game on steam that is= currently cheaper & not if a 3D game has ever been cheaper.

Thinking about it I reckon games like Taxi should be free, especially the emulated direct to PC ports with no enhanced GFX.

Cool get to work then as there are plenty of games that you could emulate direct to PC ports & of course your willing & to do it for free.

K then i read you wrong.

Tbh tho i think ppl would just grab the roms and emulators. Least u can enhance the gfx through them i.e AA and AF and with some emulators high res packs.

Loved it back in the day but £5 is not a good price. 3 is the best as it also includes the first 2's maps but it had got tiresome by then and that was 2002!

Why would they put it out at the start for the lowest price? People will buy it at £5. when people stop then they will drop it in a 'special offer'. not a bad game but i would be one of the special offer brigade.

Then i could say to be honest any title that i can download for free from torrents should be free on steam & other digital distributors.
