Crazy Taxi - Now on Steam

Nope i read you right. I know u said 2-3 quid but most ppl dont agree and say a quid or less. I aint counting so duno the numbers but pretty sure most say a quid or less.

Most have not said that at all more like 2 or 3 of you.

And the fact that you now posted my prices contradicts what you posted about me liking the price.

Some development went into this, it wasn't a case of copy and paste I am very sure.

Steam take their cut, the publisher take their cut, the development team take their cut. They have to find some margin somewhere. It's not an old PC game they have simply made available, it's from a completely different platform.

There's no pleasing some people. If you don't like/want the game then surely the price is irrelevant to you. You pay what an item is worth to you.

Actually it is an old pc game game they have re-released. It was released on the PC quite a while after the dreamcast/arcade so its likely that it will just be that version brought slightly more up to date (regarding compatibility anway).

edit: Correct me if im mistaken by the way. Im at work so cant check or look into anything.

Yea but this is old ass games. Newer games I don't mind paying a premium on because I'd rather have my collection on steam...

Steam has plenty of games from 2001 and below that are priced at a fiver or more.

Would I pay for it? No. But the 'old ass game' argument falls flat on its face when you have other games that are old priced in the same price bracket ffs.

Considering multiple times per year i can pick up games like Batman AA and Just Cause 2 for a fiver i'd have to say it's a rip off.

You could use that argument against pretty much any game from any store.

Hey, I picked up the THQ pack for £26, I'd have to say anything else priced at £26 or more that doesn't give me 10+ games is a rip off.

What's up with the ridiculous arguments? This isn't going anywhere.

Just a word of warning, i've noticed they are selling Sonic Adventure DX too. I bought this for the PC when I saw it in the bargain bin. The game has a silly max resolution of something like 1280 x 800, Crazy Taxi too (IIRC). Hope they brought them up to modern standards but I doubt it

i'd wait until sega release teh dreamcast officiall pack .. not sure on title , but i think you wil get better vfm in that ...i liked crazy taxi on dc ... would i paya fiver on pc .......no ... but i would for a proper copy on dc

£5 is too much tbh.
i would however pay £5 for some certain DC games to be fair, such as shenmue's, wetrix and the resident evils.
hopefully these DC games will sell well and more will be bought out but sales will be where its at :D
