Hi guys

Have been looking about for a case for my new i5/B3 build. The latest manufacture offerings have been disappointing:

Lian-Li (See below)
Corsair (big/poor choice of fans(650))
Antec (look like plastic tat. What have you done guys?)
NZXT (visually offensive)
CoolerMaster (Other then the Classic Case look plastic and tacky)

So my question is the Silverstone Fortress FT02B still the coolest, quietest case on the market? also quite a looker as I like simple lines of the case.

where are you getting that lian li's are noisy and have poor cooling ?

I own 4

Well its not fair to say they are noisy and have poor cooling. My v1100 is very quiet and cool. But the cost of the case + the necessary fans and bay adaptors to optimise it adds another £50 to the price.

i own 4 (i did have 7 but have gotten rid of my pc-70 and q07 and my s80) as well and the only one that i would say is noisy is the pc-60 with the 80mm fans up high, my a70fb, pc-33 and a05nb are all very quiet and have decent cooling.

I have to admit the Lian Li PC-V1020 is bascially my second choice to the silverstone. But every review iv'e read has it behind the FT-02 on noise and temprature.

It's a bloody sexy case though. And I can pick it up cheaper then the silverstone.

I think you need to ammend your OP to state that you took price and additional extras into account too. All you are stating is what the best case is and not stating your critria of how you drew that conclusion.

Amended :)

Also the more I look at it. The Lian Li PC-V1020 is such a fine looking case its hard to resist it...
