hi guys looking for home insurance, building and content + damage cover

any opinion/advice appreciated

I am with direct line, I tend to find the cheapest the price comparison sites do, then cehck direct line, for me they have always been cheaper.

I'm with Aviva. Also with them for Car insurance (3 months free and £50 cashback on Quidco) and for life insurance. All the best deals at the time.

A friend's mum works for them and even WITH her employee discount, it's cheaper to to go elsewhere!

Nationwide for me

Direct line for me as well, had a £10k water damage claim a few years back with no problems what so ever

Just ran direct comparisons and found

That would be Churchill, same group as Direct Line, both RBS derivatives.

Anyway direct quotes, like for like and Nationwide coming out 60% higher for me. Maybe its the Northern Ireland postcode. Might be as I actually checked the policy to see it covered things like accidental damage which my direct line one did by default, whereas Nationwide make you pay more.
