Anyone been to see him live?
My wife brought me tickets to see him at a small comedy club for my birthday today, and the gig is next week. I know he is extremely funny to watch, but what about live? It's his warm-up tour.

Im really looking forward to it, but as the venue only seats 150 - 200 people, it will be pretty weird as use to going venues with 1,000s of people.

Comedians usually do smaller venues to test out new material. It's a good way for them to find out what will work in the massive gigs. I haven't seen him live but i think it should be a good night, also you will probably see material others will never see.

I saw chris addison at a small venue. It was much better than a large venue. He even took questions at the end!

I have seen him twice, both XL and O2. I think he is excellent, and IMO the funniest comic alive. You are so lucky seeing him at a smaller gig. Although, as said above, re testing out material; I am going to see him this year.

Saw him at jonglers a few years ago as he was doing a warm up... he was on stage for over an hour, it was amazing. Enjoy!

I'd imagine it's at the discretion of the venue. Contact them and ask what their policy on photography is.

comics are very different a lot hate some who others think are great.
