Wonders of the Universe - Brian Cox - 9PM BBC2 Tonight after Top Gear!

All Cox's stuff is very interesting especially his last series so this should be a good watch!

It was crap.

For half of the programme I felt like I was watching some travel/natural world programme. Many long distance shots of Cox looking into the distance and walking around with very poor scripting.

You get to see some sea turtles and some ancient ruins, oh and 15 minutes towards the end there is some kind of poor link that the whole hour is somehow related to the Universe.

Show a pale blue dot image and expect the viewers to be totally captured and amazed.. I want my one hour wasted back.

Turned it off 40 minutes in, seemed to be aimed at people who don't know the earth orbits around the sun.
