Gay.

That's the worst White Balance I've ever seen. And you used a 450D too :(.

Congrats on the car though...

We'd literally just got back from a drive. It was cold and I was tired. I wanted to take a few quick snaps of the car before I headed to bed, so I didn't think to start faffing with white balance etc. I might have a decent camera but that does not a great photographer make. We've all got to start somewhere right? :p

Sin - think it was an option on some models. It doesn't bother me too much.

Looks better in person, the flash has made it look very high in the last pic.

Never mind anyway. It feels low, tight and its awesome fun. I love it.

Not just in pics, I think the same when I see them IRL. But yeah, it's purely an aesthetic thing, I'm aware that they are great to drive :)

How much did you get for the focus?

Do like this, despite the gayness:)

It was up for £6989, so we offered him £6K and the Ford.

I don't think that's too bad. 11 year old MK1 Focus, 110K miles on the clock, no service history (and a couple of hints of rust just starting to show through on the edge of the boot hatch). I didn't think it would fetch much more than £800-900 if I sold it privately, so was glad to get that for it part-ex.

I was very sad to see it go though. It's been a thoroughly excellent car

just looking at the exif, the white balance is set to manual. if you don't know what you're doing, you really shouldn't have it in manual :p Just leave it on auto for "acceptable" results all the time.

Looks great! I'm still trying to convince myself that getting an MX-5 for a year or two is a bad idea but it is a battle that I'm starting to lose!

Looks nice :) Even if it is a stereotypical girls car for under 7k its a nice motor!

As mentioned though it would look better if it sat a few inches lower, the wheels would fill the arches much more nicely.

I think the MX-5 has overtaken the Mondeo ownership in Motors now.

Should rename this the Man Love forum and decorate it with rainbows and unicorns.

Eibach or similar lowing springs springs plus a fast road alignment is a must on these, but get yourself used to the standard car first if it's your first fast RWD car before thinking of mods, if you do.

3 months to go, can't wait to get my GayMobile back on the road!

That's better

Did you not fancy an RX8 for the same sort of money? Or was running cost a consideration. Only cab i would be seen in is an S2000.

Thanks.
Like I said though, it was more a few quick snaps. Next time I'll muck around with settings more, or take it out in the day.

Indeed. RX8 is more thirsty, both on fuel and oil, Im led to believe.

Congrats - great fun to drive. Go out and get the roof down :p

:D Already been out last night and the night before....roof down despite it being close to 0C and it's still suprisingly warm in the cabin. It has a well set up heater system; the only part of my body that felt cold was the crown of my head just sticking up into the sliptream slightly...
