Thats a question for an interview. Anyone got any insight into this, or any particular phrases that the interviewer will like?

Before people get high and mighty I am not claiming to have experience, but I don't want to appear a complete dullard.

It sounds like ensuring the stock is accurately recorded is they key, ie mis recorded stock may not be found and hence failto supply customer on time or at all.

Checking it looks correct, not broken, beaten up that type of thing, ie if you were the customer how would you want/expect it to happen
 
Making sure stock and shipment has gone out in time.
If not dealing with shipping, then make sure all stock is accounted for, arranged in the warehouse correctly so that is can be easily and quickly selected by stock pickers.

To create a satisfying customer experience I will ensure that orders are picked and ready to be collected within a timely manner. Whilst Handling the stock I will be diligent in checking for any damage that may result in a customer being forced to make a return.

When I've done it it was done to paperwork.
Double collum sheet, one person picks and signatures, gets put to side, second person checks, if it's been placed in flightcase its counted out then counted back in again. Signature again.
Flightcases are then counted into van/lorry, especially if it's one object in the cas- usually very expensive and would be highly important and time consuming if missed.
 
Well application in. Fingers crossed, though with the 15 job specific questions they asked me chances are exceptionally low.

Ah well.
