Creative Audigy SE or Asus Xonar DG?

As the title suggests: does anyone have and views or first hand experience of these two PCI cards?

I'm going to get one of the two as I need a soundcard in the £20 range. Currently I'm just using the onboard soundcard so either will be a big improvement I'm sure.

I'll be running the soundcard into a Bose Wave Music System, which should be able to take advantage of the improved quality; which means I don't need it to be 5.1 or 7.1 and that will have no bearing on my decision - I just need the best for a 2.0 system, and very occasional headphone use - but 95% of the time I use the speakers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

I would go for the Xonar as the Audigy is old and even then is a cut down version of the normal Audigy. In addition the Creative drivers for Audigy are awful, or at least they were with my Audigy 2 ZS.

I second what Tealc said. I used to have the Audigy SE a while back, and I have a DG currently. DG is far better.
