Aha so this explains why I found myself stood by an MCOM a couple of days ago constantly trying out all the nice kits on the floor instead of diffusing the blasted thing!
BTW I've got some questions I hoped a couple of the more experienced players could help explain for me:
1). Tracer darts; I assume I just select this spec, hit the target then let everyone else fire rockets at it? If I have the rocket, how do I make sure it locks on to the tracer dart?
2). How close should I keep to my squad? I don't want to be falling over them but not sure how far away I should be.
Had some great games on the Section 18 server over the weekend, got some tags off PapaLazaru if I'm not mistaken.

Hold the RL to your eye & wait for the distance to show up then quickly point up over any objects in the way & fire.

Indeed i find this game is more sensitive to my over clocks than others if they are not stable.
Ive had this black screen a few times, strangely though on both occassions it happened on the same server. Cpu/gpu overclocks have been tested stable with various apps including LinX/IBT, heaven and quite a few more demanding game benchnarks.
anyone know why my game crashs and goes bk to desktop? it can be 5 mins in or 20mins in
Never crashes for me unless I've got an unstable overclock.
BTW fan on low, 1.225V, 100% stable in game and temps below 56c. Win

Not long after Jim left I got disconnected, then couldn't find the game again to save my life as there was nobody in it on my friends list

Great SQDM game with CK, Pieplough and Ahleckz tonight. Got all their tags too, which was nice. Going on different squads was a good idea.

SQDM was great last night, we shouldnt have bothered with rush it was dreadful

Haven't played with those guys before, or at least noticed that I have, except Scamartist of course. He joined just before I left.
That was the first few rounds of the game ever where I actually looked for tags almost exclusively. I've picked a few up here and there where the opportunity presented itself but this time it was all hell for leather and go for the tag. Lightweight kit makes such a difference.
Couldn't join you for Rush as it was nighty night time but it sounds like it was a bit of a dissapointment after the SQDM game.

Odd... I was on for a little bit after you vanished. So was ohhbass too I think.
Managed to sort the OcUK tag thing out so it displays properly now

I was having the same problem a few weeks back and you told me to try in DX9 mode. I was going to do that, but first I checked game's file integrity in Steam and it's not crashed since.
Might be worth a try.

Me and KC used to play a ton (and saw col_k around a lot when we did) but we've both taken a bit of a break lately. Hopefully catch you again for a game soon
If you get retail u can verify ur copy through EA and then u wont need to have the DVD in the drive to play. Not sure if u can link to steam as I dont use it - anyone?
