WTF Inconsiderate Parking

I don't specifically plan a second journey, it just sort of happens that way, sometimes I forget, sometimes I have more important things to do, it's hardly crime of the century :x

I like to take the wife and kids to fleet services at least once a month, they have just upgraded the 50p motorised machines in the lobby, 1m 15sec of child avoidance

bliss

added to that the almost super market'esque queuing look in the Shell station has to be seen to be believed, positively awe inspiring

I've always wondered this. Can't really understand why people do it. It takes more time than simply leaving a bit earlier and filling up, and uses more fuel anyway

I do this if I need fuel and have forgot to fill up on a Sunday before the week starts, mainly because leaving earlier to get into and out of the petrol station would actually take longer than doing it late on a Sunday night. Quite annoying really.

I like to randomly hang out at petrol stations, cruise through at 2mph so everyone can see me, I spent all day waxing my car so its a decent place to show it off, its like a car show sometimes. Beeping at a girls with light eye's and enjoying people's music whilst my parents hang out at a reunion nearby.

there's is always an air of love and of happiness,

this is why I always fill up with Shell ultimate (r)(c), time to sit back and unwind

Spare time in the evening, sleep longer in the morning ? I postpone getting up as long as possible usually, end up having no time to fuel up. While at night, I usually love a reason to take a drive.

Plus at night the petrol station is pretty much all yours, while just before uni or work, it's filled with people and sometimes you have to wait 5 minutes before you can even start filling up.

Get in and start flashing your beams and honking your horn. That's what I did when this happened to me. Someone came running out in 2 mins.

On Saturday I told the wife I was nipping out in the Westfield to fill it up with petrol.

I filled it up in Lancaster.

I live in Blackpool.

Not quite as bad when I got the engine reconned in the Sierra (now in the Westy) and needed to run it in - said to the wife "lets go out and grab a bag of chips".

An hour and a half laster we're sat on the quayside at Bowness-on-Windermere with a bag of chips from Vinegar Joes!

I think you've missed the point. It seems you did not just merely pop out to fill up with petrol.

I did - I was going to go to the local Morrisons, but when I got there I drove past it. Then I drove past the Shell garage, then the BP garage, then another Shell garage and before I knew it I was in Lancaster - then I had to fill up as I only had about 2ltrs left!

The wife was even cross with me as I'd agreed to watch a movie!

This forum must have the most amazing drivers in the world from reading some of the replies. Such an amazing coincidence you've all ended up congregating in the same forum!
