Anyone got any PRPS Jeans

Ive looked at TrueReligion in the past but found them not distressed enough. I dont like the rear pockets either or the big logo.

I got some Levi 512 bootcut in John Lewis the other day...priced at £85, charged £60 . There must have been an offer that I didn't see, cause it certainly didn't say £60 anywhere on the label.

Anyway I can't stand this trend for straight jeans, even though I own a pair of non-skinny straight jeans. They bunch up over your shoes and are totally annoying, especially those stupid carrot style ones that get very thin at the bottom. They just look so bad.

I'll give Levi's a go...

Thats another reason why i prefer bootcuts. Go over your trainers nicely.

So true. I don't keep up with fashion and clothes trends, but wearing boots with jeans that aren't boot-cut makes you look like a gonk. Same goes with trainers, I prefer my legs / footwear not to look like a golf club.

I have a pair of PRPS, and if you can squeeze yourself into a 28' inch waist, you can have them. I didnt pay nearly that much for them, as I got them in the states, and on sale...the fit is well, average, but that might just be on me...Its the overall feel of the jeans I dont like, they are just a bit too 'tough' for my liking.

Grab yourself a pair of nudies instead, and with the leftover money.....buy another pair of nudies, their bootcut selection, although small, is perfect!

Looking online, they only have 2 in the bootcut variety and both are tight fitting with a slight bootcuct at the moment. Im not really into tight jeans hence why im looking at PRPS.

Carrot and similar styles work better when worn with boots/tall shoes so they are tucked in I reckon. They can look good.

I really dislike this tucking into shoes trend! I do this when im working tucking it into my riggers!!

This style looks better on younger blokes/treenagers who can get away with it but im a 30yr old man!

Anyway, those shoes/boots look pretty uncomfortable. They more like worker boots and they'll be out of fashion next season.

Hmm yeah great :D

They arent carrot, they look like skinny to me? I hate those sort anyway :p

I think it depends on the shoes as well. If we look at /normal/ carrot jeans:

They look ok with those shoes as pictured imo.

However, the style I was referring to was something like the above jeans style with these shoes/boots style

Obviously, go for something decently branded and well made :p

It's all I buy - not sure I see the sense in £300 jeans. It doesnt matter how much money you've got, £300 on jeans is £300 you can spend on something else. Levi's are decent enough, hardly Tesco-own-brand and if you buy them in the outlets in the States they are pretty cheap - I bought 4 pairs for £20 each in the outlet in Barstow, CA.

I hear what your saying about £300 jeans but thats not the reason I buy jeans.
If i could get bootcut perfect fit jeans for £5 i would buy them.
I just liked the look of PRPS jeans and the distressed look of them. Levi's are a quality brand and i own a few things from them.
