Is University life really that good as people make it out to be.

I thought it was extremely hard work but from what I've heard from people there they say its a million times better than school.

Any thoughts?

Have to agree that it is one of the best times so far. Loved the whole aspect of moving away from home and meeting a whole new set of people.

It is hard work, but it's a lot better than school and a damn sight easier than real life afterwards :D

In most cases yes, but it won't be for everyone.

Explain please. (I'm not sure whether I want to go or not.)

I was stating the obvious.

Most people I know loved Uni, there is always the odd few that don't.

Its down to the individual and a varying number of factors (living from home? get on with people? etc etc).

If its just worries then don't, everyone has mixed feelings until they get there and actually meet people.

Freedom
New people
Lots of girls
clubbing

etc etc

It's brilliant.

work load depends on your course and how much effort you put in though really.

If you're a sociable person and enjoy your chosen area of study it is brilliant, although third year is definitely far more stressful than working life (for me personally that is). Don't live at home though, go away and taste independence.
