Hey guys,

I recently bought a P8P67 PRO and hooked it up with a WD 5002AALX which happens to be a 6gbps HDD.
I usually have a dual boot setup (Windows 7 + Win XP Pro).

I installed Windows 7 with no issues on this board with AHCI enabled in the BIOS. However, im trying to install Windows XP pro with AHCI enabled but so far have failed on every attempt.

I've tried, Slipstream method, Switching from IDE to ACHI method, all invain.

Could anyone please guide me how to install XP on P8P67 PRO WITH AHCI ENABLED IN BIOS

Thank you in advance

You'll need to either use a USB floppy drive or the simpler option is to use nLite to slipstream the drivers onto a new XP install CD.

Ok in what way is it not working?

Does it let you load the AHCI drivers from the floppy?

Does it display a hard drive or does it give the message a hard drive cannot be found?

P8P67 does not have a FLOPPY PORT.
I've tried SLIP streaming Rapid Storage Tech. drivers with the XP installation but it still wont work.
It give me a BSOD as soon as SETUP has copied all files from disc.
