Thanks mate, so that's Lucio for Luiz and UP Silva for normal Silva with Buffon thrown in. :D

Thats the real problem, major overlappy, I'm actually finding the French team to be quite good, italians so so, good when they want to be, but the EPL team struggles right now, maybe thinking about bringing in IF Ba, any suggestions on a convergance of the English team with the french/another team? Maybe converging with IF Gingac & IF ba uptop?
 
Looking at prices, just buying Lucio will take most of my 50K away as he's sitting at 40K from most sellers at the moment.

What do you think, take the plunge and get him for 40K then save up for UP Silva and Buffon?
 
Ive sold all my spanish players now but taken a major loss on some players :( still though on my way to building a bundesliga team

Haha, no way am I switching my teams again!! As much as I'd like to think it'd stop me from being crap, I need to keep playing with the same formation and team or else I'll never progress.

Do you think playing a player that doesn't have the optimal formation of your squad, but goes dark green formation wise, has the same effect as a light green player?
 
All my players have 99 contracts due to the consumable pile being so small! Stops me buying packs as I hate discarding consumables...then my trade pile is also full. God damn

my consumable pile is empty, and all my players need contracts, most of them are now hovering at less than 10 with at least 4 on zero. my trade pile also only has like 3 cards in it. i have about 10,000 coins. so i dont know whether to blow that on a pack or contracts.

i dont understand how/why you have so much? can you not sell them all and buy packs?

Well I keep healing cards and morale/fitness stuff. I buy a lot of packs when they in promo.

Game doing my head in tonight, winning comfortably in semi of online cup and xbox live goes down.

UP silva is around 40K too, so get UP silva, leaves you with 10K.

then sell your normal silva for 20K, leaves you with 30K.

then you need to save 10 K and you can get Lucio.

after that, you can go for Buffon.

i dont need fitness cards due to the fact i rotate my team. i dont need morale cards due to the fact i never lose. i dont need healing cards because i have backup players.

i think this is where you might be going wrong.
 
Andy will have to give you a game tomorrow. Got my new team sorted (links in a post above) which now plays for at the back so should be able to handle it a bit better

god damn, i wish i was on xbox, ps3 prices are crazy. etoo has been fluctuating like mad. i bought mine when he was at his highest 30K, he went down to 15K at 1 point last week.

anyway, UP silva is better than lucio, just get him. hes something crazy like 86 pace and 82 defense.

I do rotate, but I like my best players available for semi's/finals.

Looking good mate, you have the best of Bundesliga, can't ask for more! Maybe Gomez up front instead of Klose, he always seem to destroy me.

And yeah I'll be on tomorrow.

Going to bed still peed off about the DC earlier

you do know you can play a single match in the middle of a trophy?

what i sometimes do for the harder trophies is.

play cup match 1 with first team (2nd team on bench/reserves)
play a normal online match with my second team (1st team on bench/reserves)
play cup match 2 with first team (2nd team on bench/reserves)

etc,etc.

that way you always field your strongest team in the trophy matches and your weaker team in the normal matches.

that way you never need fitness cards. get rid of healing cards too, and get some decent backup players. theres a reason why 23 people are in a squad and not just 22, that extra player is there for injured players, granted more than 1 player can get injured at 1 time, but then you just take 1 keeper away and replace him with a backup player. if you get more than 2 injuries at once then, you could always play a slightly tired player for 1 match.

both your CB are too slow (1 of them looks painfully slow) and your left back is probably the slowest person i have ever seen.

do you not see the likes of etoo just stroll past your players as if they had broken legs?
