Gentlemen, we need a new bread of choice, and this is it.

Seeded bread is ok. Should never be used for sandwiches though, that's worst than microwaving your bacon. For most other things it is passable but certainly not my favourite.

You can afford Jameson whiskey?!

T'ain't that expensive is it? £14 a bottle at Morrisons does me fine and the bottle will last a few days. Cheaper than a night out, for sure. Plus, the 'own brand' and cheaper brands don't fill me with confidence, they just blend minimum-aged malts from shoddy casks.

Then again, I hold down a job outside of studies to support my alcoholism. Average food shop is £65 a fortnight, about £25 of which is actually food, then there's smokes which come out around £120 a fortnight... Sometimes I wish I had cheaper addictions...

What booze do you buy??

Usually a bottle of white wine that's on offer in Asda, there's a nice white Rioja at the mo for a fiver. Either that or go to the Kwiki Mart and pick up an 8 pack for a fiver.

Don't you find when you open a bottle of vino there's an obligation to finish it before you turn in though?

I hate Warburton's seeded. Its not white, its not brown, wtf is it? I like seeds but on this bread they taste like sawdust.

Once opened a bottle must be consumed, it cannot be left for another day. I had a great red wine hangover the other day. :D

As for students only buying cheap stuff. I don't, I refuse to buy the cheap nasty bread etc. I only buy decent stuff and have managed 4.5years at uni just fine, including going out etc. etc. :)

My wife bought some "secretly seeded" and it was like tasting bread dipped in sand :D
My mother in law gave us her bread maker so will have to give that a go.
Fave bread at the mo is a tiger loaf

Of course! Will regularly go through a bottle or 2 when pre-drinking before going out.

Exactly! You know when you open the bottle that you're committing yourself to finishing it - unless of course you're just using it for cooking. :D
