Bedford Trackday - March 21st

Sometimes I really hate living up north, Everything is down south!

would have loved this but it's miles and miles away.

Its hardly down south! I'm down south and its a 3 hour drive for me :p

Hopefully going, need to arrange new tyres for afterwards, fix my manifold blowing and do a Db test as i think it might be over the track limit. If all that is good, i'll be there :D

OOOOOOOOO, 10 min drive, I think I might be free and could do with some free instruction! But what classifies as a novice ?

Mazdas on Track though, can anyone join in without a mazda?

I'm sure if you feel that you need a bit of instruction they'd be glad to help.

As for the Mazda thing, they haven't turned me away for turning up in a Toyota so I think you're fine on that front ;).

Teesside is primarily a karting track, With not much room for error if you stuff up. Bedford is purpose built for track days and is epic lol.

Thanks for the link though.

I've been round Teesside in all sorts of stuff and I assure you, it aint just a karting track!

It's a fantastic technical circuit, much better than these airfields that the southerns have to tolerate :p

And only complete ****s wreck their cars. If you are careful then you'll be fine.

Thanks guys, might have to book this before I change my mind!!!!

Plus it'll be nice to have some mx5s to drive around :D

Been many many times to Teesside myself, Not keen on throwing my all into it when the barriers are that close lol. May try and treat myself to the april or may day meets though.

Hearing they are opening back up for drifting also.

Sorry for the thread de-tour

vast run-off areas that provide optimum safety. There's no motor racing at the Autodrome so there's no crowd-protecting safety barriers or concrete walls - our guests can drive our machinery to the limits safe in the knowledge that pushing too hard will result in a harmless spin across endless flat grass.

BOOOORING!

I want barriers that are 2m from the track with no tyres to protect them!

I have avoided the larger tracks like this, Rockingham, Silverstone etc as my cars simply not fast enough and I prefer "proper" tracks not airfields.

But I won't be doing another day until end of April at least now :(

This is most certainly a proper track and not just some airfield runway for the lolz.

You need to research Bedford and PalmerSport :)

So for you excitement is a track where if you come off you wreck your car and ruin the day?

All the tracks you listed are proper tracks, you gotta be joking right?

As for the track day, £99 isn't bad but I prefer open pit lane days, I did Rockingham last week.
