Thermometer inquiry for IC Diamond testing participation

Hi guys

I need your help.

Basically I need to buy a thermometer to measure room temperature which I need to use as part of IC Diamond testing against other TIMs in which I am participating and which many of you will be familiar with:

Boots seem to be selling a digital thermometer for around £10 which still seems expensive for a mere thermometer and I don't know if it measures ambient/room temperatue:

I don't mind if it mercury based thermometer or digital thermometer as long as it is cheap. My first testing will start tomorrow.

Is this spec me a thermometer thread? And a tenner for a digital one is to pricey, and you need it tomorrow?

Go to a high street electronics store :)

You could say that lol:p.

Basically I am testing 3 TIMs; MX-4, IC Perihelion and IC Diamond and testing each of them after 1 week application. By tomorrow it would have been 1 week for MX-4 which is the first TIM I am testing so need a thermometer.

Would 99p/£1 stores be selling them?
