Basically, there were two forces on the Island, good and evil

Smoke monster was the evil


Lost was the best and worst show I've ever watched, I'm still going to get the BR set mind

No they didnt die in the crashed. Those who died on the island died for real and those who left died whenever. When they are all dead at the end, it was a meeting place for them.

some died in the crash, some died on the island, some made it home and then died when old like normal people


the bit at the end is the afterlife, after they have lived out their lives

Lost is the best tv series of all time !
