I've been using Kendas since I got back into biking.
Nevegal 2.35 dtc front and Excavator 2.1 rear.
Some people hate the Nevegal (IC is one of them!) I personally love it, great in the slop, sheds reasonably well, good on the dry stuff too, the only time it's broken away from me is on very loose gravel on top of hardpack, and I think I wasn't weighting the tire front then anyway. The excavator on the rear is an absolute beast - tonnes of grip if you're a sit down and spin climber, lots of very green mossy rocks and roots on my local ride and I can honestly say I've never noticed it slip, very thin sidewalls though and it's a bitch to get off my dt 5.1 rim.
Going to give the mountain kings/trail kings a go next as they're v popular, go for a larger one in the front!
