So it seems to be - volcanoes going off around the Kamchatka peninsula around the same time as the original quake so things are certainly very volatile at the moment!
The closest I can honestly say I've been to an earthquake is the little simulation they have at I think it's the Science Museum in London!

The only one I can remember was the one in Birmingham a few years ago, I think it may have broken a few roof tiles so it's hardly a fair comparison to the one in Japan!

The last time I remember not being able to access any news sites was on Sept 11. It was like the whole internet had slowed down.
Kind of shameful how far hipsters have gone these days, I don't have anything against dubstep ( I even listen to it myself) but these plaid shirt brigades have no respect for others.

California had a shake while i was there years ago up the mountains, it's pretty normal.

Anything from a few days to more than a month. And then they'll have other earthquake. It's normal over there.
