Earthquake in Japan....9.0...ouch!

the ring of fire is very active right now

So it seems to be - volcanoes going off around the Kamchatka peninsula around the same time as the original quake so things are certainly very volatile at the moment!

The closest I can honestly say I've been to an earthquake is the little simulation they have at I think it's the Science Museum in London!

The only one I can remember was the one in Birmingham a few years ago, I think it may have broken a few roof tiles so it's hardly a fair comparison to the one in Japan!

It just seems to be escalating every day.

bbc site is getting hammerd, not loading for me, just saw a clip of a huge explosion of the nuclear planet posted at reddit.

Works fine here too. It's not 'getting hammered', you just like the drama.

The last time I remember not being able to access any news sites was on Sept 11. It was like the whole internet had slowed down.

Just been on BBC news:

Every dubstep song I see seems to be flooded with dirtier than the tsunami etc etc. I know they're just blatant trolls but I just don't see what they get out of it? No one is even reacting to them.

Kind of shameful how far hipsters have gone these days, I don't have anything against dubstep ( I even listen to it myself) but these plaid shirt brigades have no respect for others.

Just watching the BBC News and they've said that Japans had around 100 after shocks :O
