What happened to frogs?

I am not seeing frogs anymore , is this down to killers driving cars?

Blame video games. The frogs played Frogger and they were influenced to try and cross busy roads. Obviously, this led to mass frog deaths.

got loads of frogs in my garden , we have a pond , last year i counted 14 frogs which i could see on the surface.

Get them in our garden, until the Hodgeheg comes out of hibernation. But he mainly eats slugs so thats ok. Get butterflys too. I live in the middle of a built up area. Its all about watching your garden grow... and i mean watching and nothng more

Something i dont see very often is stag beetles, i think ive seen 10 in my whole life.

When i was very young i lived opposite a disused farm, there were liturally thousands of frogs. The house opposite my old house is called 'Toad Hall' for obvious reasons.

I suspect that the lack of a pond has something to do with a lack of frogs over here.

Strangely, a couple of months ago a butterfly was trying to fly around my office... I let it outside so it's probably dead now. It was either that or the slow painful trapped-in-the-light death.

And on topic, I saw some frogs last year. They like our pond..
Perhaps not as many as a few years back, but that might just be because the fish like frogspawn.

There were 2 at it outside our back door the other evening. Was an odd thing to almost stand on.
