March in London on the 26th?

The banks got us into this mess, not Labour, not the Unions, not ordinary people yet we are the ones who are being asked to pay for it.

Before anyone disagrees with that, I'll point out that the Governor of the Bank of England also bames the banks. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/mar/01/mervyn-king-blames-banks-cuts

The Banks caused Labour to spend too much money?

People's obsession with reducing the issue with the economy down to idiotic levels of simplicity just so they can have one big evil thing to point their finger at and 'blame' makes me a sad panda :(

hhmmm that website dedicated for organising protest should be banned. The banner contains splats of blod with a hate mob in front.

Seems like sturring up trouble to me.

LOL that is almost sig-worthy.

I didn't know that the banks controlled the budget, they must have sold all of our gold too!

Surprised you're not blaming the conservatives actually.

Clearly the way forward is that we should just make everyone more succesful than we are redundant. Isn't that right scorza?

Politics of envy at its finest.

That could work actually, drive away all big business and entrepreneurs so they can take their tax evasion elsewhere and leave us to invest money that we don't have.

Luckily in a year or so I should be well enough qualified to get a visa in a fair few other countries in the world. Its certainly something I can see myself considering having lived in Australia for a couple of years. In fact its probably only family ties that would keep me here.

If we can't get the deficit under control (and remember, this is only the amount we are borrowing every year that we are trying to reduce, we've then got to start actually paying it off - or get used to paying £50bn+ interest charges every year) a lot of people will probably start looking for a way out, and it won't be the people who are net users of public services that are leaving.

So... who are we borrowing it from?

Nope, won't be going as sadly the country actually needs cuts to reign public spending in. Wish there was another way to do it with out people losing their jobs though :(

Im still interested in Superwza's utopia where we dont need money because its only lazy people paying others to do the work.

Nice utopian view.

Did you know that the United States, France, Japan, etc etc all have higher national debt as a percentage of GDP?

Have you trampled on any peasants today sir? Damn you for employing people!

Not today, but i did notice some other poor sod whos 40 quid jeans have bitten the dust in the washer, i was stunned that everyone dosent have a servant to wash them by hand, i just dont know whats happening to this country !

Add to that list Germany, who are projected to have the lowest at the end of the next four years.
