Paid my deposit and ordered one of these last week, have a soft spot (no not my head) for French cars after owning a C2VTS and C4 coupe, and i've hardly seen any of these on the road.

Grey with a red roof

Went for the standard seats as they're alcantara, 1.6 turbo 6 spd manual.
Managed to get 2 yrs free insurance and servicing into the mix too.

would have liked the racing version, but it's the same engine+remap, and some questionable colours at about £6k more than this model

Just have to wait for delivery now

Same, it's the only Citroen model atm that has the X factor imo, their models were going stale until this was released, and I was like WOW.

Just checked the Citroen site and it says "Chrome" so assume it is and not chrome effect plastique

Citroen had a stand in Bluewater a few weeks ago and had the sporty one there which costs 26k ~ also a std version, sat in both.

You can get the same look on the lesser powered models (style) for age/insurance reasons, as Citroen won't insure under 25's on the THP sport model.

They are £10k+ anywhere at the moment pretty much and the smallest engine is 1.4 and is insurance group 13.

Not a ideal first car.

Unless money doesn't matter or you are talking about a good few years from now.

List is £16.5k with the options I chose, managed to get it down to £15k and then £9.5k trade in on my current car, (59 plate C4 coupe HDI)

Great engine really, same as Mini Cooper S, JCW and Pug 207 gti apparently. I was half tempted by this combo, but decided on the grey at the last moment

i'd say they've come on leaps and bounds recently, the DS3 just tops the lot.

nice to see them back to their best. one of the most innovative manufacturers out there probably.
