Beeping bin bag!

I can see the news now.

"Binbag bomber foiled by Computer enthusiast."
In the early hours of this morning police bomb disposal experts in deepest cornwall detonated an explosive device left in a refuse pile outside a number of houses ready for collection. The police believe this to be the work of the Bingbag Bomber who they think may be responsible for a number of attacks against refuse workers across the country. The device was found by local resident JCBeastie who after much procrastination decided to consult a large online community known collectively as OCUK. Worried members of the online forum urged Beastie to report this potentially serious incident to the local police. Luckily for the residents of cornwall that is exactly what he did. The police would like to thank OCUK for their excellent judgement of the situation and persuading the indecisive Beastie to do the right thing by posting such comments as "OMG1!! Its a BOM!!1 Phones da Rozzers!" and "Seriously dude it could blow up your house!". However the police explained that the situation could have been handled much more efficiently if unhelpful posts such as "Cool story Bro!" and "jesus.jpg" had not been posted. When asked to comment on the sitution OCUK representative Gibbo replied that they had secured more stock of Nvidias GTX480 and that they would be able to extend their crazy pricing on this for a few more days. We are not sure how this is relevent.

In other news a morris dancer caught fire yesterday after being struck by lightning while caught outside wearing bells in a thunderstorm.
:D

Great post mate! :D

Turned out to be a carbon monoxide detector inside of a deep fat fryer!

Well that was fun.

So now someone will get an arse kicking for disposing of a deep fat fryer with their regular household rubbish?

I was wondering how the bag flashed red if it was inside a deep fat fryer, but then guessed it was probably one of those without a lid (our last one had a lid on it hence my moment of confusion lol)

Lol'd! Nice article. You should try for a job at The Daily Fmail.

lol different story if he ignored it and then on the news an expolosion in his town killed a passer by

LOL. when was the last time a bomb went off in a residential bin in the middle of nowhere.?

I don't think it even ever happened from my knowledge.

And if you were going to plant a bomb would it have a flashing light and make a beeping noise.

Stop watching telly and being paranoid.

I am just slightly worried that police time was wasted and also slightly concerned about the intelligence of people that thought it was a bomb.

However I appologise for not reading the thread. I didn't think he would actually call the police so was simply offering my oppinion. which as always turned out to be correct. :D

It's ticking you need to listen for.

I remember there was three kids injured in Lurgan when the dissidents left a bomb in a bin in a residential area. Granted, it wasn't beeping, but it happens. Was during the summer last year I think.
