Where to go/stay after gig in Brixton

A mate and I are going to a gig in Brixton (London) on a friday night. We'd like to carry on after to a few bars and maybe a club.

Can anyone recommend where to go and a hotel. We don't mind catching a tube or bus before and after, the less hassle the better though.

(Traveling in from the Midlands M40).

was about to say, don't hang around in the bars in Brixton too long. Generally not the nicest of areas when you can easily jump on the tube back into central London.

lol we do intend on gettin the hell outta there straight after lol thats why I asked.

I'm thinking, get tube to Oxford Circus, few bars round there and a hotel, then get train back from Euston.

The tube between BRixton and Oxford C is direct so seems easy enough after a few jars during the gig.

I'd rather go to the bars/clubs in Brixton than the west end, to be honest.

Being stabbed > being surrounded by tourists.

Plan B is a cool place although it depends on what you like out of a place as it is pretty cool and funky. I would say head back into town and have some fun there before staggering back to a hotel.

Spent a night in Brixton back when I was in first year of uni, lost count of the number of times I heard the sirens... Good luck to op, stay safe.
