Ok so I have got a nice new shiny SB build on the way. WOOT !!! but I think Razer Diamond Back and Saitek Eclipse KB and mouse are going to need an upgrade too :)

So I am looking to spemnd around 100 quid on both if thats possible. Both will see heavy use from gaming, FPS, RTS and RPG action like WOW, EVE and Rift. I also do a lot of work in photoshop.

Additional info, keboard needs to be illuminated either blue or able to chane colours, Mouse needs to have side buttons, preferbaly same sort of configuration as a diamondback

Rift and wow just get the Razer Naga i swear it's amazing i've not shut up about this mouse since i got it.

i use the s key cos the key i should be using is broke. buy a raser naga, you will not regret they are perfection. Keyboards dont need to be to fancy, just get the raser arctosa

never take that guys advice on logitech mouse over raser naga he doesnt know what hes talkin bout man, the naga is the p diddy of the mouse world atm

For the mouse options - I would recommend the DeathAdder from Razer.

Keyboards are a little less important, but a good branded one is always best to ensure it lasts you.

And Logitechs replacement warranty is ACE!

razer naga is awesome + using cheapo 10 quid keyboard with it, when you get this mouse you use your keyboard less and less : )

all depends really... if you play mmo's then the naga is the best mouse out there for the job, trust me I've used a lot of mice and nothing comes close to it

if you play shooters, black ops that sort of thing you only really need a high dpi mouse so could get away with using a death adder

and agreed with munz. The only keys i use are wasd to move about, shift ctrl and alt combined with my mouse buttons and i get over 45 bindings i can use with ease and quickness. If your looking for that edge in mmo gaming the naga is the way foward

I've got a Copperhead + G15 combo, and honestly, I've not used the G15 for any of its macro buttons. I'd agree that standard comfortable solid kb plus strong mouse is the way to go. Interested on trying the Naga myself (playing rift atm), glad to see it getting good reviews!

a few months ago i would have said razor deathadder, but ive had 2 razor fail on me after 1 year,i stick to logitech as there support is awesome

Razer Deathadder and Enermax Aurora Lite!

Admittedly the keyboard doesn't have a back light but it is very good quality and will last for ages due to the Scissor keys, rated for something like 10 million strokes.

The Enermax doesn't seem to have anti-ghosting. TBH, neither does my Logitech Illuminated Keyboard and it's never been a problem. But in this day and age, it's a nice feature to have if you're gonna be gaming and willing to pay crazy price for a keyboard.

And I can confirm Scissor mechanism rules (like on the L.I.K.). But backlight is a must in my case :(

So the general consesu is Razer Death Adder Mouse + some kind of logitech keyboard ? or sack the logitech keyboard and get something like the saitek cyborg v7
