Jeremy Clarkson iPhone disapproval

^^

Yep, I like him on TV but I expect in real life he's a bit of a Kanoute.

Totally. He's even a bit hit and miss on TV, too. Top Gear manages to be an awesome show with presenters that are great 75% of the time and cringeworthy for the last 25%!

Yeah, Hammond is the worst imo, he's just gone all daytime TV-ish, he was funny for his first series and now he just gets on my nerves every time I see his stupid hamster face. I liked him in the U.S Special tho. :p

YOU DON'T HEAR PEOPLE SAY 'LET ME TAKE A PICTURE WITH MY NOKIA'

grrr :p
To be fair in times gone by you did, well maybe not take a picture with because that wasn't possible, but the terminology of nokia being as descriptive as phone.

He didn't get his 'phone' and take a picture of him, oh no no no no, it had to be his 'iphone'.

IT'S STILL A PHONE, CALL IT A PHONE!!! YOU DON'T HEAR PEOPLE SAY 'LET ME TAKE A PICTURE WITH MY NOKIA'

grrr :p

Calling it an iPhone is cooler though, cooler among the hipsters anyway. And this way sensible people can avoid you :p

I thought it was quite well known that Clarkson doesn't have much time for fans. Aside from being controversial, he isn't as nice to people in reality as he appears to be on TV.

Indeed - when I went to the recording, at the break everyone went outside and James & Richard came outside for half an hour with a cup of tea etc. whilst Jeremy didn't ... was no surprise really. I like JC on screen but imagine a very different side to him off screen.

He didn't have disapproval of an iPhone, he had disapproval of some guy taking pictures of him.
There is not really any problem with headline in the article, just descriptive I guess and you could understand why someone would be concerned with Clarkson grabing and tossing his expensive phone, but to say "Jeremy Clarkson iPhone disapproval" is just wrong.

I also don't see why Jeremy deserves a medal. Admittadly I wouldn't be snapping photos of anyone I didn't know from the table next to them but to get all up in someone's face is just rude as well.

It is much more homoerotic than WWF. Atleast in the WWF there is some acrobatic nonsense going on, MMA is just men on the floor hugging.

Pretty much, you have to embrace it otherwise you are doomed to fail by homophobia.

Well, 'iPhone' is used a lot. But then why not call an 'iPad' a Apple Tablet. Or 'Macbook' an Apple Laptop, 'iPod' Apple MP3-Player. And it goes on.

That's it's product name. So that's what they will all call it.

In fairness, the thing it's absolutely worst at is making calls.

Within the context of the article, saying that he was specifically using an 'iphone' is completely irrelevant, where as just using the term 'phone' would have been perfectly adequate. Think of it this way, if he was using a HTC Desire, would they have stated in the article that he was specifically using a Desire? No, they would have just said 'phone'. It's a bit like seeing a random product placement being shoved down you're throat during movie, but worse because the moron who wrote the article isn't even getting paid to do it.

Just goes to show how brainwashed people are these days.
