Almost everyone I know who isn't IT minded equates PC with a Desktop. It isn't particularly annoying. Do you go off on people who say "hoover up"?

And even more pedantically most laptops aren't even laptops. They're notebooks. Probably because most "laptops" boil your gentlemen's sprouts after 5 minutes of actually being on your lap!
