Chris Moyles Longest Show

I dont like Moyles but at least him and Dave are doing this for charity.

Xfactor do a charity song every year, do you run out and buy that guff? :p

I much prefer Scott Mills, at least he actually puts some real effort into the causes he chooses to support.

Whilst I am not Moyles' biggest fan, I do tend to listen most mornings and often chuckle but often cringe. But to say that Chris doesn't put effort into raising money is not really fair. He did after all raise bucket loads last year climbing Kilimanjaro which is no mean feat.

Who said i was even giving money to this cause and xfactor really..... you have lowered your status on this forum speaking of this evil.

I'm all for raising money for charity, I do my bit, 3 peak challenge and marathon in the begining of April. Fair game to him for doing Kilimanjaro, I'm more envious than I am in awe, though. I just dislike charity being rammed down your throat and that is basically what he is going to be doing for the next 50 hours, or however long he's on air for.

He is contracted to the BBC, he is expected to ram it down peoples' throats. Not least of all because the beeb wants to be seen to be doing its bit (which naturally helps to increase business) but because not everyone listens to the same radio station all day long. People dip in and out of different stations, different shows and even different points in one show.

They have millions of people listening every day and they are clearly trying to make sure everyone hears about it.

It's no different to watching the news channel all day. Before long you are ready to crucify the broadcaster for rehashing the same story every half hour.

Everyone expects a bespoke show just for them and it doesn't work like that.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion however this does not by any degree mean that we can troll pointlessly.

If you dont like Moyles then fine. Do not comment.

He is doing this for a good cause so I see no issue. Regardless of whether or not you like him it is worth supporting what he is doing.

So much hate :(

He's raised over £68,000 from people texting in a £1 donation and its only been going around 7 hours so far. I've personally donated twice :)

This. Moyles and the Wanted were funny as. More of it please!

I think 99.5% of u don't even get his sense of humour! Just from reading these forums if rather go for a pint with him then most on here anyday!

apparently moyles is as arrogant as many forum members :)

anyhoo i can't listen cus i r at werk too.

But i think it may be a bit too much even for me :/

unless he getsthe old parodies out again i miss them.

IMHO he keeps me amused whilst stuck in traffic on that dreary drive into work.

He does a fair amount for charity, especially comic relief. Good lads for giving their own time to raise money for a good cause. Simples.
