I've heard stories before and a friend even said he got really angry when two children asked for his autograph in a hotel they were staying at.

On the other hand, I heard he was a great guy, and even stopped to give my mate who had broken his leg a visit in his ward whilst at hospital. Took a pic with him and everything.

I dont "hate" iphones, i didnt say it so i would look "cool"

I said it because i genuinely do not get the thing with them.
They are very locked down, you CAN NOT do as much with them as say HTC phones.
and yet people will pay well over what the phone is worth, and pass up other good phones purely for the name, then when one is mentioned by name.....its all backs to the wall and "omg you all hate apple"

Also, its the internet, there is my opinion, love me or hate me.....i couldnt give a monkeys

PS i will concede they are better than Nokias

The value comes from the quality of what you can do with it, not the amount of things you can do with it.

How many people are like you (and me, admittedly) and want to fart about with their phone all the time, flashing custom roms and modifying everything? Less than 1% of the population? Not even that I bet.

While i do "fart about" with my phone,

i would also like updates that i dont have to pay for.
have the option of having flash without being told im not allowed it, esp when paying that sort of money

I can go on, its a "good phone" but over priced and over defended. if any other company messed up as much as apple did with the iphone 4 we would already be asking our friends what the name of the company was.

They are popular because not everybody wants to start flashing the firmware on their phones and messing about with the ins and outs of how it functions. Most people want a phone which is easy to use, comes in a nice package, and has a LOT of apps available. That is why the iPhone is so good.

I don't think it's because you dislike them, it's the fact that you said iPhone users deserve to be burnt.
