Sounds like I'd best keep quiet then as Sky put me on Fastpath from day one. :)

Pings aren't spectactular though, 30ms ish normally in Pingtest and 30ms to jolt. When I was on Interleaved on a previous line I got almost 60ms to jolt and bbc, which was reduced to around 40ms when I had the max delay setting changed. Still I do remember playing on 56k and 250ms was considered good back then.

In BC2 my server list starts around 28ms. Usually get 70-100 in game though but is this in game figure ever a true reflection of your actual latency?

When I sent my Max Delay email they replied and made the change very quickly, I was impressed. I did see a small drop in line speed too but I would rather the low ping rather than a few 100kbits/second.
 
Just had a few games on a random knife/pistol server and it was great. Well policed so any kills from an unaproved weapon was an instant kick. Searching the server list I couldn't find any knife only though as that sounds even more fun.
 
the one weve been playing on is knife defib only.

there was one guy last night im pretty sure was macrod up to the eyes cause he was defibbing knifing basically at same time :p

gunna try vietnam out tonight.

who fancies some nam later ? :)

Got over 250 knife kills playing on the Knife only server and platted the knife. I found that great fun, but that it seems that game type isn't for everyone either.

Yep it was great fun & made a nice change plus good practice.

Usually play BF:BC2 most nights, is your hardcore server well populated and admined? Do you also have a kit limit on snipers or anything like that?

I was getting a similar speed too, possibly an extra mbit on top. I was a fair distance from the exchange and thought it lucky to get this as I only got 1mbit in the house before that and even then it was unstable.

Hopefully you won't see a drop like I did. I don't think most people get a drop in speed, I was perhaps just a tad unlucky.

Is that 72ms ping time representative of your normal ping Setter? Seems a bit on the high side. What's the jitter like?
