Bad customer service (not OcUK)

I'd be pretty annoyed waiting 10 days (actually it will be at least over 2 weeks from the cancellation before the cheque clears) for a refund from a company on something I'd paid for with Paypal.
 
Yep fully accept it...

That email was more me being wound up at her response, because at that point all I knew was it had been sent, not when.

The cheque was signed by me on 11th March and posted out by first class post on Saturday afternoon to the address below as completed on your booking form

Now, as she said Saturday afternoon postie would have collected it Monday morning ... so in essence only 1/2 working days had passed at this point.


anyhoo... at least you understand why the emails escalated but I still think they were professional considering the circumstances. It only needed two emails from you really and it could have been over and done with. They apologised, offered you a refund and a complimentary night to boot...
 
Kol - yes, but what I mean is, that email of hers that you quote which told me when it was sent out, that is the first time I knew when. That email also goes on telling me I've overblown it saying it has dragged on etc.

The first line of my OTT thanks her for letting me know what date is was sent out, which I'd asked a few times (I think).

I totally agree with what you're saying, just justifying my reply to you :)

I am such an impatient git, I know... but honestly I assumed to begin with the refund would just be on Paypal. At least I'm not the only one :)
 
They crossed the line, you can just tell she's up her own ....

you expressed your feelings, they should have kept it professional and issued a refund via paypal, instead of trying to convice you how good they are.

Heheh almost word for word what my Mrs said... and she too thinks I go too far in my rambling emails :)
