Total Recall is being remade?

I stumbled across this:

It *might* be good. It has the original writer of not just Total Recall but also such fame as Blade Runner... Colin Farrell in staring role?

Director has Underworld and Die Hard 4.0 qualifications... hmm good but not great.

Either way smokedog got half his wish from about a month ago

There really milking this whole remake thing I mean come on Total Recall come on its not significant enough a film to warrant being remade, its classic Arnie and as he is too old now should stay that way.

Supposed to be closer to the book than the original so it has potential to be pretty decent.

People talking about remakes and original ideas - when it's based on a book, it's fair game in my eyes.

People are far too precious over old films and remakes. It's not like they will be deleted from history if a remake is made.

It could be awesome and everyone is happy. It could be crap and you still have the old film to make it all better.

Absolutely love Total Recall, classic Arnie at his best, pure no-brain, cheesey, action carnage!

Will have to see the remake when its out, pass my own judgement on it.
