From what I can tell, this seems to be the same as my Gourmet Card. Which luckily Ive always got for free..but the savings are well worth it. Might look to getting this too!

I got my first one for £30 and my second one was just renewed at the same price. Its usually more but they occasionalyl do offers to get people inb. Those people then extol the benefits to friends who then pay the full ticket.

If you like eating out at all its a great deal. EG just going to GBK with 3 other people can save you about £25. And thats just for a burger chips and a drink.

My Brother in law has one of these and I've borrowed it on a few occasions, it's quite handy. They never bother checking if the card belongs to me.

Just used mine somewhere you're meant to phone in advance and they weren't bothered, went in to check ready to ring and book a table for "now", said it was fine, that was promising because all of the manchester ones say you need to ring first

My card (which I applied for on January 26th) finally arrived today with an expiry Date of 10th March. None of the places near where I live let you use it Friday or Saturday, giving me a massive 5 days to try it.

It does say when you are filling out the form it's a one month trial only.

You expect to have a trial starting from around the time you receive it. It sounds as though his has been held up somewhere. He should give them a call.

Appears to be the same people at the back end. I've never been on or had a taste card, but when I went to register, it told me I'd already had a trial. The only one I've had before is the Gourmet Card.
