I really can't see the point of the 6990 at the price it is at the min. you could buy 3 6950 at that price.

Lets face it, they were most likely idiots with too much money. Somebody needs to help them by taking the money off their hands

if you watch the overclock.net video on youtube it evaluates and comes to the same conclusion that the stock cooler design is rubbish and far, far too noisy.

id rather crossfire two 6950`s with custom coolers on and get lower noise and better temps, perhaps more speed too and at less the cost.

no brainer tbh even at x8 x8 speed on board
