Back in Jan i fell off my mountain bike and dislocated my shoulder, Had an MRI that showed that i had torn my Rotator cuff tendon ! So i need to have Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair surgery.

The hospital contacted me and said they would like to film the operation. They will use the film for training shoulder surgeons.

I said thats ok by me, And i get a FREE DVD of the op LoL.
Would you consent to having your operation filmed ?

Am i doing the right thing?

You can be sure they'll have their best surgeon on the job if they plan to film it :)

If they weren't filming you may have one of those trainees the video is aimed at!

You are doing the right thing, I always allow trainee doctors to sit in during conversations and procedures when in the Hospital if asked.

Agreed. Plus in my experience trainee doctors can quite often be attractive young ladies. I have not problem with them poking and prodding me. :p
