Probably a dumb question but want to be sure!

I've got a Christopher Ward C7 Rapide and am looking to change the strap and came across this clasp:

Am I right in thinking that adjusting the length is just a case of putting the side with the hole further through?

I'm not after one that relys on the holes or needing links removing from the metal straps.

Yea, just move it along and put in whatever hole you want. If you want you can also make another hole (which is what I had to do) My wrists are pathetic.

Mine :D

Ah so that does still go through the holes.
Guess i could make another hole!

Nice C7 :D
I've got the black face one with metal strap.

preferably want something that i can just pull tighter!

Thanks :) I had to choose between the black one and this one. Mine was slightly cheaper. Absolutely love it, in my opinion it looks better than some watches on the market that cost at least 4x as much.

has your C7 not got a leather strap already? if so, it should have the same type of clasp - I know mine does :D

(If you've got the metal strap CW themselves sell leather replacements for about £35)

Unfortunately not, got the metal one. Could get a CW one but there seems to be better looking ones out there on the interweb :D

Ideally I'd like a strap that just pulls tighter but doesnt look out of place with the C7
