The Acer TimelineX has the best battery life of the bunch.

There is also a 13'' version, the 3820T (no optical drive).

i kinda have to agree, lenovo or what used to be IBM laptops look pretty carp compared to acer/dell/toshiba or any of the other main laptop dealers. its because of the old blue colouring and the nipple pad in amongst the keyboard mostly. i personally dont like it other than that the laptops look great. even the specs
