I'm really curious as to just what somebody would do (UK) if they won that. If banks can only guarantee you 85k (I may be wrong) of your savings if things go wrong, how the hell would you safely spread that much money around safely?
I don't mean buying shares either. Is the only way to buy some kind of bullion in large quantities?
Just pondering, I doubt it will effect me ever.

Surely it's against the law for banks to find out that one day they've accidently blown up millions of your money then say you've only got 85k left?

I'm loving the way people who never play are now playing, because the normal £8m is not enough, they will only be happy with £117m

If i was a rich boy, na na na na na na.....

I could think of a lot of things I would like to have/do/give to but I don't think I could ever spend £117. Probably give over half to friends, family and charity though.

The rest can go on cars houses alcohol partys and holidays.

Your first order of business will be to hire a top financial advisor... which you can afford to do. They will be able to square away your winnings in a way that you don't loose out.

Of course their services are going to cost, but it's probably the smart thing to do.

I'm guessing they will sort all of this out for you, especially given the sort of money people win. Probably have their own top financial advisor and sort out meetings for you with others. I would like to know exactly what they do though, advice wise etc.
