Hey guys,

I get push emails from uni via native android email app on my phone (via exchange). However while the words are correctly formatted in the email, the images embedded don't show up. The only way to see them is the link to download them at the bottom of the email.

Any ideas on how to get images to show as I read the email?

Thanks in Advance

I'm using the native mail client. I get a "show images" button and images just appear. Only time I get asked to download is if it is an attachment, which is normal practice for any mail client.

Sorry, I'm using the "Email" app on my Nexus S, and not the Gmail app. When I press the "show images" button the images don't appear in the body of the email and just appear as attachments.

Fed up with messing around trying to get K9 Mail to use exchange and it just doesn't work, I'd prefer it to sync my exchange contacts and calender to my phone.

Still having issues getting embeded images in the stock email client.

Just an update on the whole topic I started for completeness. Stock Gingerbread was terrible for Exchange email support. With ICS and Jelly Bean, Emails have finally caught up to iOS standards. Exchange works very well too with everything rendered correctly.
